The Vision of Alexander Baptist Church is

His Gospel – His Glory!

We believe that God created us all for His own glory. He also established and built His church to bring Him glory and honor. This statement of our vision encapsulates both the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8). As God’s children, we have the biblical command and express privilege of loving God and loving others. This love for God and others manifests itself by sharing the message of the Gospel with everyone around us. It is our desire for God to use us in bringing people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

We know that God’s vision for our church cannot be accomplished in our own strength. Thus, we pray and rely upon the Holy Spirit to work in and through us. The methods that we employ in seeing God’s vision becoming a reality include, but are not limited to: relevant, Bible preaching; Spirit-filled worship; genuine community; and biblical fellowship. Because of these methods that God has blessed and honored, we identify ourselves as “A Place to Call Home.” We are all about being the family of God that He has called us to be.

The goal of our vision is the redemption and rescue of men, women, boys, and girls out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation (Revelation 5:9). It is our prayer and aim that God would allow us to be a part of a global Gospel movement.
